MSc student Solsa Cariba was awarded a TERMIS Travel Award to attend the TERMIS-AM 2022 conference in Toronto, where he presented a poster titled: “Investigating the Neural Control of Fibroblasts During Regeneration Using a Novel Co-culture Device”
In addition to our SCN funding, we have also received a 5 year NSERC Discovery Grant to study the biophysical modulators of regeneration! We are very excited to be able to use this grant money to progress a number of projects over the next 5 years.
The lab was awarded just under $300,000 over 3 years from the Stem Cell Network's Early Career Researcher Jump Start Award to study the effect of nerves on stem/progenitor cell recruitment and differentiation after injury. More information about the award can be found here.
